Sony DSC-T500 Lets You Shoot Stills While Recording Videos

Here comes 10,1 Megapixel point-and-shoot camera that also records hi-def movies. Sony has just unveiled its latest digital camera, Sony Cybershot DSC-T500.
It features MPEG4 AVC/H.264 video capable of capturing frames at 30 per second at an HD resolution of 720p. The slick thing is you get to take stills at the tip of your finger, while you’re recording video, with no interruption at all. Other features include Face Detection, optical Image stabilization, and HDMI output to view both images and videos on HD display. All the hi-tech functions are accessible via 3.5-inch touch-screen LCD. The T500 will arrive in black with a brushed metal finish and retail late September for about $400.
